Thanks to the powers of Sabrina, the above image materialized in the Shameless corridor today. It wasn't a fancy replicator sort of materialize, but a slow laborious dissolve that smelled of lichen. It started in the living room, next to that lamp you hate. At first I thought the image was one of those fogs that creep in about midday and make you come up with a few hours missing (it's not just me, right?), but then I saw the gnome hats and realized it was picnic time. Won't you join us?

The thing about drawing a cat pooping is that the more time you spend on it, the more you cultivate a sense of futility in your existence. For some reason the doodling nodule of my neocortex wasn't channeling cat-shape today (I kept yelling "I CAN'T DRAW CATS? WHO AM I?!"), so this Awkward Stare bit became a chore. However, I did manage to watch about 20 episodes of "Classic Dr. Who" on Netflix while drawing a cat pooping, so the day was far from wasteful. 
This doodle was inspired by a conversation between Katie, Daniel,  and Jacki on the most recent episode of Blipcast (about five minutes in).

I'm afraid I can't describe the process used to create the model reference for the base sketches on this piece, as I am tired of people throwing up when I am talking to them. Suffice to say, what IF two people's faces were melded together in an innovative yet messy experiment in my underground dungeon lab? And what if those two people were Daniel and Katie from the podcast The Boring Lives of Interesting People aka BLiPcast?

This is an old one. 

This drawing may date back to 2009, when you were just a twinkle on a grasshopper's knee. (I believe that's how the saying goes.) I haven't been using my drawing tablet much, but have been drawing on Actual Physical Paper with Actual Physical Pens & Pencils. It feels like time travel. Anyway, I have a bunch of  NEW! drawings to post on here, but I do not have any kind of rendering device that could  transfigure my physical illustrations into pixel pockets for internet-based consumption . . . 

So for now you shall have to settle for a few scraps of  bedraggled low-fi sketches, torn from the grips of digital skeletons slouching in virtual closets of years past. Please be gentle, that's a first printing.
