His name is Prowler... Prowler the Flowler.
Many elaborate and gracious apologies for the extended delay on updates in Strange-land. It's not that my hands have been idle, but merely that my inclination to post had, temporarily, dwindled. I missed you, though. I hope you missed me too. Here is a mutual friend for us to ignore while you and I catch up on all the gossip. Please come back soon. I promise to be good.
And that "PEEP" did sound across the wasteland with a bone-chilling shrillness that curdled the stomach contents of all who heard its echoes. Alright, I confess!! I've been drawing a lot and not sharing it with you. Actually, I've been drawing and gaming at the same time. HOW, you ask? By playing a game that involves a lot of drawing. Drawception. It's a browser-based version of a game that was once paper-based, which some people may know as "Eat Poop You Cat" or "telephone pictionary". It's especially fun if you're like me and tend to stress about your drawings, 'cause this game forces you to relax; drawing skills aren't important, and you only have 10 minutes to finish.
So, just to prove I'm alive and doodling... Here's a link to all of my drawings from various games. But what makes it obscene? How does this pie make you feel? What if the background was robin's egg blue? What if the background was robin's egg blue but was described as corpse vein blue? What happens if I drink wine after work instead of eating or sleeping? ANSWER: I draw pie I just realized that this should have been "pacu with pica who dreams of being a puca WHO EATS PIKAS".
Oh, well. Pacu - Common name for several species of South American freshwater fish that are related to the piranha. Pica - Disorder characterized by the craving for and persistent eating of items considered to be non-food, i.e. chalk, rocks, paint, gravel Puca - Mythical creature typically represented as a black horse but also considered to be a shape shifter; so in this case, it is represented otherwise. (I felt like 'amorphous' captured the essence of a puca better . . . . . . . Also, I can't draw horses.) Pucas are typically considered to be benevolent spirits. However, when I first heard of a puca (or pooka) I was told that it's a creature that eats children -- so I went with that spin, accurate Celtic mythology be damned. (I don't really damn Celtic mythology, it seems pretty neat.) - Today's post brought to you by TL;DR - |
